Yes, it is possible to become a real witch (if it fits in your belief system of course; if you don't believe in magick than magick will never work for you). I'm not sure what you mean by charmed. Are you talking about the TV show?
In that case, you should probably know that real witches are nothing like they are on TV. Sparks and glitter don't fly from our fingers and we can't fly however much we would like to 
. The word witch means "wise woman", so witches are simply people (male or female these days) who live wisely. That means taking good care of the Earth, our bodies, being kind, doing no harm, and having the skills and the know-how to perform magick when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. Like a spell of protection for your house if you live in a bad neighborhood.
