Yes, you can be a real witch but not thosed 'Charmed' style witches as Inujade mentioned. Charmed are just fictions with a little facts from the writer's research. Other than that, it's just purely for entertainment and not to be taken seriously for most of it. Real witchcraft is far from emitting sparks and shooting some fancy laser from wands to kill your opponents. Harry Potter , Charmed , Sabrina ... are what that have led people to approach witchcraft in a very incorrect way. They become misled and deluded by thinking these fiction are real. There are lots of good materials on witchcraft out online including Celeste's sites. These sites help to guide people away from approaching witchcraft in a wrong way through education. I hope people don't learn withcraft or some magick just on the impulse or influence of fictons and TV shows NOR should witchcraft be learnt because of greed , power or desires but for obtaining the wisdom of life itself.
