Before I give you my example, I just want to say a few things; first, I wouldn't normally talk about my craft or it's results. It's not advisable to do so, as the doubt of those listening can dilute the power of the spell (Belief is key to almost everything in this world, magickal or not).
Second, it's important for all beginners to know that spells are actually not that big a deal. I haven't performed one in weeks, simply because I haven't needed one. I study magick the same way I study self-defense...hoping I will never have to use it.
Third, why do you want to believe in it? You really should think about this quite hard.
Okay, to actually answer you (lol sorry) here's a spell I did at the very beginning of my 366 days of training...a spell I really shouldn't have done, in retrospect, but it makes a good story. ANYWAY, one week in the summer it stormed for six days straight, and I wanted to swim in the lake. So I made a "Good Weather" spell and cast it during the night. My familiar howled the whole time, but she usually makes noises when magick is going on so I took no notice.
Trouble was, the enchantment I'd written didn't actually specify that I wanted the rain to go away, just the clouds. Come the next morning it was bright and sunny...over OUR house. The clouds had formed a perfect circle in the sky right above our house, and I mean perfect. The clouds were still as thick and dark as ever, except with a giant hole punched through them. It was still raining, just not over me anymore
The nieghbors noticed it and actually feared a tornado was about to hit. Quite a learning experience, let me tell you.
I hope thats helpful, and I hope you find what you're looking for. Best of luck!
Blessings.
