First I want to say that the Cottage family (which by posting, you have become a part of) is NOT here to ridicule people or make anyone feel stupid.
Inujade brought up a VERY important point/question that I think needs to be repeated:
"Why do you want to believe in it? You really should think about this quite hard."
I also think you should seriously think about why you need proof. If spells DIDN'T work, why would people have been practicing it, in one form or another since before the birth of Jesus?
Witchcraft is something that people are called to. They read about it, and as countless people have said over the years "It feels like coming home". If you have to try to force yourself to believe that spells work, they NEVER will, and Witchcraft may not be the right path for you.
You've said you need proof. As I say on my web site, and Inujade also pointed out, discussing spells is not recommended for the reason she/he stated.
But I'll tell you about the very first spell I did over 30 years ago, when I knew basically nothing about Witchcraft .
I REALLY wanted a guy I was dating to call me, so me and my best friend did a spell to get him to. We sat on the floor with a candle, put a drop of blood on it, and I said I wanted him to call me. End of spell. Before we even had a chance to stand up, the phone started ringing. I picked up the phone and said "Hi Terry"...and it was him. He was VERY shocked, to say the least. Why did the spell work, when neither me nor my friend even knew what we were doing? When we did the spell, it didn't even occur to us that it wouldn't work.
It was a stupid spell, but we were just stupid kids. The fact that we had NO doubt, or even thought about whether it would work or not was what made it work. If you have the slightest doubt that a spell won't work..it won't.
I know I'm repeating myself, but I really recommend that you sit with yourself and think about why you need proof, and what an example of proof would make you believe spells work.
