I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. I was just wondering what those of you who celebrated it did? I don't expect to hear stories of elaborate rituals or anything fancy. Just anything you did to acknowledge this turning of the wheel. With the exception of Samhain, I usually just take a long walk, and pay close attention to the various plant and animal life, leave some nuts out for animals gathering food for the winter, pay attention to smells, sounds of nature...maybe a short stay at the end of a peer at the beach to watch a sunset and end the day with a bath/meditation to sort of 'wash out' the previous holiday and 'baptize' (for lack of a better word) myself in preparation of the new one. And, of course, what Chystal Wolf mentioned (big surprise
). How about the rest of you?
Inquiring minds want to know.
