So in case you guys didn't notice, it's October now
. And October means Halloween (or Samhain, if you prefer)! It's always been my favorite holiday, ever since I was a dumb kid in a pointy hat.
Here's the thing though; all years previous, i celebrated in very modern ways. Trick or treating, eating candy, and going to parties where we listened to loud music and watched scary movies. This year (and all years afterword) I'd like to celebrate in an older, more meaningful way. So naturally I've looked on this website, a few others, even leafed through a few books on the subject. So far I haven't found anything that resonates with me.
So, as long as its not too personal, I'd be curious to hear how everyone here is planning to spend Halloween this year. Or even just some suggestions would be great
