How is the Bible dangerous? It's just a book. Yet, people have been hurting and killing each other for centuries over their belief in that book.
How is the Koran dangerous? It's just a book. Yet, entire countries are still hurting and killing each other over the their belief in that book.
The Necronomicon isn't, in itself, dangerous. But, if it contains text that inspires someone to do something harmful to others (and your daughter knows that there are people who believe in the writings), then I say get rid of it.
On the other hand, if she finds something useful to her practice in it, then she should keep it and use it.
Whatever she does, she should know that it is, by design, a work of fiction.
