Hi Vikki
As noted by Celeste Wikipedia has some interesting facts on the Necronomicon. My ideas on the subject are subject to change but for now are; if the book was written by a very powerful Witch, Wizard, Demon, etc and was an original it might have some power. If the author wrote or typed the actual pages and then put them together then he or she is actually imprinting his or her energy onto the book so there might be some of his or her power in the book. Other wise the only power I could see the book possibly having would be the ability to let you see the ideas clearly and then put your power into them. Btw I just finished the Eragon series so maybe that is why I have some of these ideas for now as the story is long with lots of magic
