1. I may be taking a leap here. But, I don’t think that anyone here considers you a poser. I’ve chatted with posers. They usually aren’t as informed as you are.
2. I still think that we are getting all wrapped up in semantics. The “Sabbats” were significant days long before any culture was around to label them. So, it really doesn’t matter what you call them (Sabbat or Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious). The point is that you acknowledge them in your practice. Some (like Celeste) hold her own form of celebration. Some (like me) simply take a moment to recognize that things have changed. Any practitioner worth his/her salt has to be consciously aware of these changes. Since all magick is greatly affected by nature, paying attention to nature (and its fluctuations) is essential.
3. Honestly, I don’t think that any of us have a stranglehold on the “minority” spot here. It seems that we have all been around the block enough to know what we don’t like about the established teachings. The fact that we are having this conversation without someone spitting a religious doctrine pretty much makes us all the minority of the minority.
