I need some professional advice.
Over the past week, I have been helping a couple work through some problems in their relationship. Mostly, I have been doing readings for them. But, as we are friends (and they both know that I don’t judge or gossip), I have also been counseling them. In that time, I have felt some strange energies around their situation. My gut has been telling me that an outsider is magickally influencing this issue.
At first, we all thought that it was the woman who was being messed with. But, a little investigation shown that someone had worked on the man.
I can’t be sure. But, my gut tells me that someone has hexed him. They are trying to keep him in a state of depression and confusion. They want him to feel that things are worse than they actually are.
Since I have been working with them, I have also been negatively effected. Whenever he is around (or even when I am just thinking about the situation) I get a sharp pain in my jaw. I also have a sudden and mysterious tooth infection in the same area. I have been to the doctor about it. He said that it looks like someone hit me in the face. But, the swelling is only beneath the skin.
I have done a full cleansing on my place and self. But, nothing seems to be helping me with my situation. I advised that he do the same. But, to the best of my knowledge, he is still being affected as well.
So, I thought that the next best thing for me to do would be to track down the source. I have a working theory on who is doing the casting. But, I don’t want to start out on a witch hunt, only to find the wrong witch.
Do any of you know of any methods I could use to track the origin of a working of magick? I thought of scrying. But, I have never done that without having some idea who or what my target was.
At this point, I am open to any and all suggestions.
