Well said and acknowledged!! You're exactly right on how the "big guys" feel about and relate to animals. To them, animals are $$$. The only thing they care about is what is going to bring them the most $$$.
What ever happened to caring for your fellow man, caring for the animals...as loved animals, as working animals, as food on the table animals. People used to care about the world and everything in it. We have all changed into a money hungry America. If you borrow a cup a sugar from a neighbor now a days, they expect you to buy them 2 5# bags. And, if you don't go to the store and get it, they expect you to give them gas money too. And, if you think you'll just wait until they need to borrow something from you, you're sadly mistaken because they will take you to small claims court over that cup of sugar and you will no longer be good neighbors.
Whatever happened to "that's what friends are for"? Now it's all just "show me the money".
Ok, I may have gotten off subject, but my point is...people don't care about each other anymore and they're not seeing what they're "not" doing for our children's futures. This goes along with the dog food in the way that if the Big Wigs of the certain dog food company (and many other companies)cared just a little bit more for life than $$$, there would be more jobs in America, farmers would have a reason to farm again, kids would know what hard work is and not expect to get paid because they picked up a beer bottle someone through in your yard, animals (not just dogs) would be healthier because of the agriculture being farmed again, people would be healthier because the food we eat would be healthier...blah blah blah.
Wow, I didn't know this subject was going to get me going that good. I'm forcing myself to stop now. I disagree with a lot of the choices government and executives are making. It is not doing our country good. I'm done now.
Ooops, Anthony wanted me to throw this in...his brother worked for a celebrity animal high-end food company here in Ohio BEFORE they were bought by Procter and Gamble. At that time, they used corn gluten...not just gluten. That's when it was good quality. Since this company was bought by P&G, it has gone downhill and now uses gluten and the bottom of the barrell pickings. Anthony used to be a firm believer in the quality of this food, but NOT NO MO!!! We think this is the same company you are referring to.
