I often times wonder if there are two levels of human evolution -- in all aspects, not just in the dog world. Fortunately I was raised by liberal, progressive parents and I learned at an early age to be open (and that mentality was very rare in the early 50s). It must have a lot to do with early childhood imprinting -- the same as puppies -- violence and conflict are totally foreign in my thought processes. It's so sad that there are people that have not progressed beyond the neanderthal period of human evolution.
