Bones will not be dense if they are not worked -- think of thinning bones in women over 50. All docs recommend weight lifting to combat bone thinning for women over 50. The entire structure of the dog will suffer if the dog doesn't get the excercise it needs.
Remember the female that lived it's entire life in a crate, giving birth to litters and ended up dying horribly in a hunt? Perfect example of what happens when a dog is denied excercise, training and conditioning, and betrayed by her owner. The dog had the heart to hunt, but was never given the proper tools by her owner, so she died being goared to death-- disemboweled. That's what dishonorable BYBs do for the almighty $.
