We also agree with Wolf dogs must be socialized. We also agree with her opinion on dog parks. But we know people need to do what they need to do and to consider both sides of that coin (fairly good social setting but a person also needs to remember that illnesses can be caught in a setting like that.
I personally find myself doughting my knowledge of animals especially around a vet. like Wolf and her opinions come from many many years of being around dogs and learning from them.
We would do well to treat our animals like our kids. Kids need to learn how to get along with others and how to respond properly in social settings as well as basic education and physical activity for proper mental and phyical developement. Many laws and standards are designed to give kids these basic fundamentals to prepair them for adulthood and to coexsist in society as an intagral part rather than a misfit or someone who needs to be locked up. I guess I would say even in society we have our "BSL's" commanly called stereo typing. for example it is wrong to say "pit bulls are dangerous" as it would be to say "a black man from the getto will rob you"...
So again remember the children. What basic skills and behaviors you think your kids should have your animals should have them also.
