i do not believe it had anything to do with stereo types, there are signs she picked up that made her uncomfortable that had nothing to do with the dogs, reguardless of breed. this also would be transmitted to the dog that may have caused a fight.
lets face it, a group of young guys dont get together and say lets go to the dog park.
i have tats but i dont have gang afiliation tats. allthough some kids get tats because they think they are cool and have no idea what they mean in the gang venue. when i was in japan i didnt go up to the yakuza to compare tats.
sure they may have been nice dogs but with these signs i would have left too. bsl are being put in place because of owners, and breeders that sell them to lets just say less savory homes for a quick buck, not because of the dogs.
and if i really wanted to see their dogs i probably would have put my dog in the car then i could also focus on my surroundings and their dogs without being distracted by my own dog.
