Does anyone know anything about bad cat medications? I personally have had dozens of cats visit my life, alot of them being ferals. I haven't had a problem with the cats' anesthesia or medications except with one, and he had other issues but pulled through. With all the new stuff coming out, it's kind of scary because it doesn't seem the FDA is doing it's part of guaranteeing safety before the new drugs are released. I'm not even sure if the FDA has to put a "guarantee" on medications slated for veterinary use....
One that I think this happened to was Baytril. It was released for human consumption, then pulled. I've noticed that veterinarians are now prescribing it.
