This is the link to a very good animal lover's news source for the DFW area. It tells alot of rescue stories, how people can work together to help the furry ones, etc. Some stories are tearjerkers, others make you smile.
Although it is focused in the DFW area, it is still a nice site to possibly get ideas for education, rescue, offers of assistance, etc.. If you email Mr. Powell about something specific such as a lost pet, he will get back to you and/or publish your story in this article.
