Storm, It sounds like this "nutritionist" would be a waist of time and money. She will likely not have any information that will help you with Ninja's rash and that seems to be your drive here.
Just as a side note:
Ninja liking her feet may also be signs of an allergy to something out in the yard. I had a Aussie mix that developed a minor allergy to certain grasses. She would lick her feet all the time during the summer and fall. Then it would go away in the winter when the ground was covered in snow.
Ninja may have the rash on her belly and butt area from sitting and laying in the yard. That area back there would be pretty sensitive to something like that, if she had an allergy. My Aussie never had any problems anywhere but her feet but she also has a longer coat.
It may be some new weeds that popped up or something that just developed. Also have you put anything on the lard lately or planted any new grass seed?
