I have two companion dogos in the house. Tony and ChaCha. They are not fed together ever. That is a gamble I will not take. She is pushy and eats all the food. He is tolerant but one day that would run out and it will happen so I do not allow them to dine together. I do not leave them alone without my supervision in the house. Tony is never crated but she is and when I go up to the kennel they are separated by either crate or porch (I have a front and back porch both enclosed with runs for a dog). I cannot chance an altercation when I am not present. These can erupt without warning.
While I was sitting here I just had a barkfest with the deaf one. She wanted more petting and I was done. I folded my arms and turned my head. After about 3 barks she turned and went to the toy box and is now chewing on a bone. Dogs never get their way here. I call the shots. BTW one cannot argue with a deaf dog.
Well it is raining hard here today. It is a rainy day in the "hundred acre wood".
I must don my slicker and head for breakfast feeding in the kennel.
