what are the possibilities of this happening...
you take you dog to a "broker" hand over papers, shot records, pedigree. Pedigree because this is next step in the we dont ship pits or any other dangerous breed. i know you only give coppies
then you never see your dog again because it just went to another person starting up his lines. but the other person that has less than desireable lines will breed your dog saying it is theirs.
