I recall there being a water issue when I visited you too. It's beyond our control, so champagne is a fitting replacement. I always keep at least a month's worth of drinking water in my garage and I have a gravity fed purifier if I need to bathe. Living in earthquake country keeps me vigilant on keeping supplies handy. The one thing Bodhi would have to get accustomed to is kibble if we loose power. I keep a 40 pound bag in the garage and when it gets close to the expiration date, I take it to the animal shelter and order another one. I'd rather donate dog food indefinitely to the animal shelter than be caught unprepared. After the Katrina debacle, I know there is no one who will take care of me and my dog except me. I did have a can of artichoke hearts explode in my cupboard in the garage, so that was a lesson in rotating supplies. With the state of the economy and the political state of the planet, in an emergency we all need to learn to be as self sufficient as possible. In all major cities there is only an estimated 2 day supply of food before the shelves are empty if, for some reason, the trucking industry is shut down.
