I keep first aide items on hand.
Those light things that you break and they glow
Ace Bandages
Suture Kit
Ice Packs (the kind you smash a thing inside and it activates the cold)
Kotex (can be used as a compression for bleeding)
Snake bite kit
Electrolites (in a powder that you can mix in water)
Spray sun screen
Disposable eye wash tubes
Plain white vinegar
Cayenne Pepper - stops bleeding instantly if you put it on a cut (cauterizes the veins)
Pliers, tweezers
Large tarp and straps or sling in case you have to drag the dog and can't carry it
Muzzle
Emergency vet numbers for whatever area you visit
I'm sure someone else has more suggestions.
