With the economy being so 
horrid and our country dropping off the map I think we should think about going back to some of the early years where we grew our food somewhat and maybe we should stop supporting China and Mexico. I for one am gardening as it makes looking forward to a new year and life on the planet and things that are good. Veggies and flowers make it easier to cope. For about $50 in seeds I can can and eat all winter and share with my dogs. Its healthier and fun. I realize many of you are trapped in areas where you must patronize the markets. Container gardening is fun and can produce crops also. I know you work, betcha you do not work as hard as I do. I still have time in my budget to enjoy the dogs and flowers and watch the garden and pots bloom. Spring is a great time of renewal. I have to be positive as there is too much negative going on. I refuse to be dragged down by government. I will fight with my last breath. Its not about being rich and making a lot of money but about enjoying the good things that make life worthwhile, things like flowers that take your breath away. You cannot eat, wear or cuddle up to money. You can cuddle up to a dog.
So this is where I'm at. The simple life has a lot to offer.
Come on, climb aboard.
