No - for my own purposes of picking these extra chicks up it does not affect my outcome or goals. They will do what I want them to, but my point here is they were in fact misrepresented.
I do not care if they are "show quality" or otherwise. They will set a nest and be wonderful for my needs.
I just felt the person who sold them to me should have been more honest in the beginning and thru subsequent conversations up to the point of sale. Instead, she was talking and presenting them as if they were in fact babies that came from her own stock which she volunteered for me to meet.
Regardless of species (dog/cat/goat/horse/ect...) when money is involved... just be aware the final outcome is going to depend on your own research and judgement. Never take for granted that you are getting what you think you are. The seller is meeting their own goals - to sell you what you think want and getting paid in process.
