Even though the expectations with the seller were set and plans made accordingly, this seller neglected to mention that she, herself, did not know what these birds were until the very last minute (and it sounds like that was by mistake).
It’s obvious this person did not have a care in the world about “finding a suitable home” for these birds, she just wanted the money and be rid of the birds. The seller saw there was another opportunity in the mix…egg production.. and figured with the price offered, the sale would be made regardless….very opportunistic!
I have been guilty of not opening the box until I got home and found the contents were not as advertised…I think we all have.
A lesson was learned…No matter what you are buying, never assume and yes, buyers must beware.
