I'd like to see the prices for Dogos kept high so most average 'Joes' who have no business getting a dominant breed won't be interested. If the price were to end up under $500, there would be a glut of Dogos on the market and in the shelters. Then you would end up with fighting and gangsters and all the stuff that comes along with that ilk. Look at what has happened with the one bad backyard breeder in Virginia spewing out puppies that are disposed of -- not to mention the adult dogs that are considered "useless" because they can no longer be used to make $$$, so they get to die hideous deaths. That's going to be some very bad karma that will come back to haunt that breeder to the grave.
