i looked into the fss program that akc does before it will recognize a breed..
as for the dogo since 1996 there has been 170 dogos registered...at 35 dollars per dog basically for nothing because you are dependant on other people to register their dog it dosent look like a good value
you need between 300 and 400 before they will even consider the breed...then there needs to be a parrent club and show they are doing all the things other clubs are doing, shows, trainning, education ect.
i will register my dog just because but i do not see this breed being recognized any time soon
