On our last day, we had a good bit of time til we had to leave. So we took advantage of it by getting ready and out early. We started for the last time with a good breakfast at Pigalle. Then we headed out.
First we walked around Time Square for the last time. Then we walked over to 5th avenue to see a couple of shops. We made our way to central park again and I took Mallory on a carriage ride through central park. It was very nice but personally I was under a different impression that it would go through the whole park. It doesnt. They just ride around a small corner of the park. However, it was very nice and our driver was a cool guy from ireland.
After that, I wanted to get a snack from Serendipity3. I had heard that this was the place to get the famous frozen hot chocolate. So we went over there and got the famous dessert. They have a full menu of food and other desserts but its seems a bit overpriced for the other stuff in my opinion. The hot chocolate was a neat novelty and the cafe itself is really cool to look at and explore. ( http://www.serendipity3.com/ )
Then we decided to walk down to Grand Central. Here we walked around the famous train station. It was really a cool place and beneath it is a really cool open market to check out and a food court to grab a quick bite.
