While waiting for wedding functions in San Diego, my friend Keith came down from Long Beach to San Diego.
We met in La Jolla for breakfast at Nine-Ten. Its a wonderful breakfast place on prospect street and you can sit and eat in there outside dining while watching La Jolla shoppers and tourist bounce around. I definately recommend the Eggs Benedict there...it was outstanding. ( http://www.Nine-Ten.com )
After that, we made our way to Seaport Village. Its a neat little shopping area on San Diego Bay near downtown. While there we picked up some cigars at Capt. Hunts and made our way over to Margarita's Kitchen & Cantina where we got outside seating overlooking the San Diego Bay across from Coronado Island. Here we got to witness one of the coolest airshows ever. The red bull airshow has these little planes that literally fly through an obstacle course at high speeds over the water. It was a great show sitting there with a couple of beers, appetizers and our cigars. ( http://www.redbullusa.com/sdairrace )
