Hello group,
First of all I would like to thank you for the great information you are having here. My name is Dhary and I have recently acquired a CO Puppy who is 4 and half months old now. She is the granddaughter of Nurbek of Hanzu kennel and daughter of Dash of the wilderness in Montana USA.
I am assuming the trainer/site admin is Varlay's owner, what a wonderful dog Varlay was and I am sorry for your loss.
I have a few question that I am kindly seeking your answers with:
I have an Alaskan Malamute male, unfixed, who is 3 years old and weighs around 60kilos. He is an Alpha around other dogs, and thankfully knows his place around me. Now that my CO is growing up, she is challenging him over food, toys...etc And he snaps, and she would back off but next day she will try again. A few times they both snapped! So what Can I DO to prevent them from killing each other a few months from now when she is bigger and older?! They both listen very well for me and the moment I say STOP, they both are out of the fight but I am worried about the time I am not home for example?!
