Listen , you have a dominant young dog, you must have natural signs of being to weak. It can be your way of moving , talking , looking or just the whole picture. You have to be more confident , and show your dog that you are the boss and you are not there to compromise . When a young dog is giving you his theeth you never must show this dog your doubt , fear , or in-confidence. None of my dogs ever show me teeth simply because they not want to test my leadership. Punishing dogs have nothing to do with agression to them , kicking ,hitting , or over and over shouting towards youre dog give the dog only pain and fear or nerves and anger and is not related in any degree of punishing dogs in order to show him of her who,s in control .the actual point is that the dog needs to thrust you in good times but also in bad times .dogs , in contrary to humans , are not able to think there behaviour over ...they have instincts. So punish your dog with clearence, and be ferm as you can be , a short snap to his or her cheek is no problem...you need to overbluff the dog and make your correction very short . Giving him or her some very short negative experience when growling or theeth you. This is what you must do , in combination with a very clear NO ! Then go on with whatever you were doing , when the dog 10 minutes later comes towards you , easy and friendly then give him a pet and move on . People who tell you that you need to take him down and pull his skin in his neck ....are foolish. More foolisher it becomes when the same people tell you that another dog will do this too .... You are not a dog , you are his or her leader , but you are a human , therefore you eat from a table and your foor legged companionship not . Again , be ferm , but honest , when you not show leadership the dog,s only answer will be ....i give it a try.
