The web site is looking for a few good outdoors articles, so I am giving my annual plea for HELP. I know statistically there has to be some good writers out there in the Club, that also do a lot of really neat things and go on really neat trips. So I am pleading for even short articles.
As an older member of society I can't help notice the younger generation posting their MySpace pages, Blogging page after page, and tweeting to their Twitter sites. And most are to young to have good stories. I think that the older you get, the more stories you accumulate. And we would like to give you the opportunity to tell them.
Even the AMC is into Facebook. Several members have added me as friends on their Facebook pages, which at my age is flattering to say the least. I have accepted and now stare at my Facebook page and wonder, what next. But enough digressing...
If any members of this experienced generation have good outdoors stories, we sure would like to share them on the web site. Think of it, you won't be limited to telling your best stories over the backyard fence to your neighbor, you will have the whole membership to tell it to. Such opportunities don't come everyday, and stories not told, are stories lost. Send me an email or give me a call the old fashioned way. I still have a hard wired phone.
