Join the Neutaconkanut Hill Assoc. on a Guided Walk on Neutaconkanut Hill
SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 10 A M - NOON

Meet at the Neutaconkanut Hill Recreation Center Parking lot at 675 Plainfield St., Prov.
We will proceed to the Summit of the Hill where you will discover, or re-discover, 88-acres of
woodlands, unique to Providence. Home of deer, wild turkey, pheasant, fox, hawks & a multitude
of small animals. See spectacular views of the City. Walk the paths created in the 1930s
by the WPA, many re-constructed by the Neutaconkanut Hill Association.
The Hill, highest point in Providence, was the original northwest boundary in the agreement
between Roger Williams & Narragansett Indian Chiefs, Canonicus and Miantonomi.
