OK, I attended. For what it's worth, it was less "rules of the road" and more like this:
--> Please join the Coast Guard Auxiliary
--> some overall boating accident statistics (powerboats and paddling) across the US
--> Some basic safety items to take when paddling
--> Take our boating course to actually learn about boating rules
Overall, about as helpful as the intro chapter to any paddling book on my shelf.
