In the Sunday New York Times, Macaulay takes an advance look at the 2009-2010 dance season and gives us some interesting advance word on ABT's Spring Season - May 17 - July 10.
Among the new acquisitions are: Neumeier's Lady of the Camellias and Ashton's Awakening PDD from The Sleeping Beauty and the Thaïs Meditation PDD. Asthon's The Dream and Birthday Offering are returning to the repertory.
Debuts by Angel in Camellias and Thais are wonderful thoughts that will hopefully come true!
Here's the link to the whole article...the mention of the ABT is near the end. By the way, ABT's website makes no mention of any of this.
