Thanks for posting this link Karen. Such a historic event in so historic a place. I am so glad the Galileo 2000 award committee recognizes art as well as science, AND recognizes Angel's talent. After viewing the pictures I wondered ... Would Galileo have appreciated the grace in flight? Would Michelangelo have appreciated the beauty of form? Well I'm glad that 400 years later we still do. (Besides this coroboration of the talents of Kiril Radev and Russell Ducker, I also am glad for maestro Ozawa; I have many fond memories of him and the BSO at Tanglewood.)
