As you have probably heard by now Ami, the manager of Sidewalk Cafe for many years and a true supporter of the Antifolk scene and vibe, has passed away.
I am in a state of shock and sadness. Ami was not only a central part of the NYC Antifolk scene but he was in a very real sense, family.
I can't say much more right now, dinner is burning and my son is letting me know it. Time to feed the kid. Life goes on, but, Ami, you will always be a part of us and in our hearts.
