Hey all,
The Antifolk Fest has come and gone once again. I'll be sending out my official thanks to the performers later this week. I'm exhausted, but elated...I hope everyone had a great time.
Tonight at the Sidewalk is Snazlfest. It's going to be a great night of music. The first four acts were discovered on Snazl...I mean "encountered." The "headlining" acts are all great...I know most of them from my time working at Jezebel Music. I conducted interviews with several and have included the links below.
6:30 - Laura Zax - acoustic songwriter with great songs
7:00 - Ramon Ramos - dude is crazy
7:30 - Moment of Zen - the lead singer is a trip
8:00 - The Echo Jinx - they just looked and sounded off the wall...I was sold
9:00 - The Press - acoustic set by a normally loud band...several members have been highlights of recent Monday nights.

10:00 - Neckbeard Telecaster - a supergroup Band-ish act including bandmembers from Dirty On Purpose, the Shorebirds & more.

11:00 - Kendra Morris - those of you who were at my CD release party last year may remember her. Prince-meets-Britney-in-a-cool-way...she plays her guitar through a giant, vintage ghettoblaster.
12:00 - Dynasty Electric - dance party band, really cool
