Hey Antifolks,
Plans for May 21's I Heart U event are well underway. As usual, I've tried to contact some new folks first. Those of you who frequent the Monday Night Open Stage will recognize some of the talented performers who have been playing the Sidewalk over the past several months on the list below. I still need more people to sign up, and while it's true that the event isn't for three weeks, I'm going to be designing the poster next week...you want to be on the poster, right?
What is I Heart U? It's a night where everyone involved covers someone else's song...but not anyone big and popular like Prince or Falco. Rather a song written by a peer, a friend, an enemy, your grandmother, your summer camp bunkmate who wrote one song in her life and you just have to share it with the world...that kind of cover.
The list is short at the moment, but it won't be. Email me at info A@T sidewalkmusic DOT net if you want in. When the list closes, it CLOSES!
