Actually, especially during it's first ten years, Antifolk embraced a lot of performance artists and spoken word such as John S Hall, Carl Watkin and Heather Woodbury. More recently Jon Berger is a regular at the Antifolk Fests, Bernard King has had his poetry performed and Rick Shapiro is not only often cited as a main influence by so many on the scene he is also featured on the Antifolk Vol.1 CD produced by The Moldy Peaches. So, sorry, the definition doesn't fit. And also, Antifolk doesn't need to go by any other name, it is what it is.
