I'm searching for information on Eldridge B. Land born abt 1808. He married his first wife, Nancy McConnel (birthdate unknown), Mar 31, 1834, and they had 5 children (that I know about): Charles Henry b. 1837, John b. 1836, Mary R. b. 1840, William b. 1842, and Mariah Ann b. 1844 (dates approximate.) I know that they lived in Appomatox County in 1850 (and I think as early as 1840.) I am having trouble tracing any further back. Anyone connected with this family who has some more information, I'd be very appreciative!
