Looking for the ancestors and other relatives of anyone below in Capital letters: Benjamin RAKES and Mary F. RAKES (nee,JONES,I think) reputed to be born in Appomatox. They are buried in Buckingham Baptist Church. Their son George W. RAKES was born Jan 30 1849 in Franklin County, VA and married Mary Lee OLIVER who was born May 15,1866 and died in 1950. She changed the spelling to RAIKES. Her father was John H. OLIVER, mother Leticia (Spelling?) HUDGINS OLIVER
