I am looking for information on my great grandpa. he went by the name of Hallie Main. He said that his mother died when he was young and he was given to a man named Thomas Main. He also said he had brothers, but did not say how many or what there names were. He was born about 1892-1896 in appomattox. he may have changed his last name. May possibly be burgess or something similar to that. any information would help.
