Hi everyone. Yesterday the ladies prayer group from my church brought over a box of Christmas decorations that they collected, thinking my apt.needed some cheering up,which it did. I was thrilled that someone from my church reached out! The prob is this... my apt.now looks all pretty and festive, and I'm REALLY missing my baby. She should be here to enjoy it,as planned. I really AM alone this year.As well as losing my daughter, I now have no connection to my husband or his family, and my own mother is keeping distant, choosing to drown her pain in alcohol. A few relatives will still get together at my brother's house Christmas day in the afternoon to enjoy a feast, which is good, but Christmas eve and morning I will be all alone in my apartment with no one to share with. My question is this... At my brothers house, I would like to do something special in honor of Christina, but I'm not sure what. I also dont want to spoil everyone's joy by making them sad. Any suggestions? How did you all get through your fist Christmas? Any of you have to do it alone? Eva
