Hi Eva, I didn't have to spend Christmas alone like you and I'm so sorry that you will. Last Christmas I wanted to do something special too because I didn't want to ignore the fact that we were missing Lisa so bad. What I did was hang up her stocking and asked everyone to write down a special memeory they had of LIsa and then Christmas morning we read the memeories out loud. We were able to share with ease and cry together. Ignoring and pretending we don't hurt is the worst thing to do. We also visited Lisa'
s grave Christmas morning.
I didn't feel like decorating much at all last year, so I didn't do much. I also bought a special Christams ornament in memory of Lisa to hang on our tree and plan to do so each year. So in years to come I will have a tree full of angels.
Do you know anyone else that is alone at Christmas? Perhaps someone else needs some company as well, but only if you feel up to it.
Ruth
