I hope you decide to celebrate Christmas. There are those who love you so much that want you to be there for them, and Christmas will not be the same for them without you. I know it will a very difficult time, but go ahead and do it anyway. Send a gift to someone in need in your son's name. Buy a special ornament for your son. Send a donation to your church in his name. Talk about him at Christmas. Share your pictures of him. Play some music that he would have loved. But please celebrate the birth of your Lord. Jesus is taking care of your son for you. He loves Dane even more than you love him. He came into this world on Christmas Day so that your son would be saved. Jesus loves you very much and He will get you through this sadness.
Dane's spirit will be there with you if you will allow yourself to feel his presence. He is not really gone, he has just moved from Earth to Paradise. Dane would not want you to miss Christmas because of your sadness for him.
Bobby is with me this Christmas, and while I miss his physical presence, he is still here with me.
