I have been so sad all day. There has been a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes since I left church earlier today. It was a beautiful day outside, but mostly I just wanted to be alone. I know this sadness will be part of my life for a long, long time, probably forever. I try to tell myself that Bobby is the lucky one. He escaped this old sinful world that we still have to endure. I try to imagine how wonderful his life now must be. Knowing that I will be united with him someday is the only thing that keeps me going.
