We have no answers
We have no answers to anything. Only God has our personal roadmap, and along our journey He allows us to make choices for our individual lives. I have learned from Jesus, since my son Shawn’s premature death at age 22 on 5/12/07, that we have to include Him in every decision we make for our lives..... Every single day. He will guide, help, comfort and protect us. When it is our time to be with Him...He will take us back home. That is truly the hardest part of letting go of our children, when it happens so unexpectedly. They are so young, healthy and happy, and in “our eyes” not our child’s time to leave this earth at all. But in our Father’s eyes it was His time....After all, He made our children, they belong to Him too, and in the meantime He gave our children to all of us as a gift of His Love......
His Word, prayer, presence through nature, solemnity, etc is the only way we Mother’s can heal. It is such a hard and long road. One that most people can’t fathom unless they have lived it....I am thankful for all of you on our web-site. There is so much compassion and love that we offer each other, because only another Mother knows of the intense longing and pain for their child. It was better to have loved my Shawn 22 beautiful years than to never have known his love at all...
Eternity is immeasurable (Thank God!).
God Bless everyone here!
Jo
