You are so right about this. One thing I have come to realize since Bobby's death, while we may think we know so much about heaven, about hell, about this life and our after life, in reality God lets us know only what He wants us to know. And there are many things that He doesn't need to let us know. If we knew, our tiny little minds could not handle the knowledge. God will put in our hearts what we need to know.
Our relationship with God is as indiviual as our DNA. He create each of us "unique." God is the only one in control of what will happen in our lives. While our child's death has been so terrible for each of us, in God's plan, it was for the best because God does not make any wrong decisions. We have to trust Him in ALL things even in the death of child. He does blesses us in so many, many ways. Even since Bobby's death, He has enriched me with so many blessings. We must never put our faith in anything else.
