Hi Debra, I feel the same as Patti, From the momement I first saw Phil, His presence was so strong and he said Sorry mum , dont be sad .
I was not suprised with this, and In no way feel it contradicts the gospel. I simplified it. God Knows the pain of losing a child. He did that for us so we would have eternal life. If he loves us that much why wouldnt he allow those times to hhappen . The time I feel Phillip the most is when my human heart is breaking, Its gentle , calm and reasuring. I know he dosnt want me to be sad because he feels no more pain or stress.
Jesus appeared to the deciples before he accended to heaven, there is no reason why this cant happen, and it does for me every day.
Its only 75 days since Phillip died, and my heart griefs every second, I find it who talks about him very much depends on what stage they are up to in their grief. Two of my children dont mention him much, I try not to allow this to hurt me , they are both in so much pain.I pray the lord holds us all close to his heart and helps and guides us through this.
Tracey
